A.Allowed temporary and allowed permanent signs of the type described in § 154-92.4 shall be exempt from sign permitting hereunder.B.No sign permit shall be issued for the erection of a prohibited sign, except as approved by variance granted under the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law.C.Unless exempt from permitting, no permanent sign shall be erected, altered, relocated, maintained or displayed until a sign permit is obtained from and the appropriate fee, if any, paid to the Township.D.A sign lawfully erected under permit may be repainted or have ordinary and customary repairs performed, including replacement of plastic or glass panels, without a new sign permit; however, if such sign is to be structurally altered in any manner, a new sign permit shall be required and the altered sign must meet all requirements of this article and this Code.
