§ 154-92.2. Setbacks and sight clearance for freestanding signs (temporary and permanent).

  • Freestanding signs, temporary and permanent, shall comply with the following setback and sight clearance standards:
    A. 
    Setback. Freestanding signs shall be set back at least 10 feet from any property line. The setback shall be measured from the property line to the nearest part of the sign.
    B. 
    Sight clearance. Freestanding signs shall have a minimum sight clearance from two feet above grade to seven feet above grade when located within a sight distance triangle as referenced in the current AASHTO standards.
